Students in the 9th/10th grade section of the Global Studies Academy work together to build the academic foundation necessary to be successful in a college preparatory program.

The 9th/10th grade section rotates its history and science schedules annually.  In history, students study World History and World Geography and Cultures.  These two classes help students understand how diverse cultures and events have built and changed our world community.  In science, students study Earth Science and Biology, giving them a more detailed understanding of how the complex forces and systems of the planet synchronize to allow the existence of our modern human and animal communities.

In addition, 9th and 10th grade English focuses on World Literature and builds a foundation of solid researching and writing skills.

Students’ math courses vary depending on their current levels of knowledge.
