Forest Charter School is sponsored by the Nevada County Superintendent of Schools (NCSoS), which is located in historic 49er country in Nevada County, California. NCSoS sponsors six charter schools in Northern California, offering a variety in educational approaches and philosophies. Together, these schools form the Nevada County Charter Cooperative (NCCC).
